About the show

This is a memorial event for the late Colin Kristensen who was tragically lost at the age of 17 in an accident that took place while driving his truck he loved so much. Two of the things he was most passionate about was trucks and music so we chose to honor and remember him by putting on the best damn show we can! The “Church Street Cowboy” name was brought about by people of the community because Colin was rarely seen without one of his cowboy hats and he grew up on Church St.

Starting at 1:00pm (check in begins at 10:00am), downtown Gibson City, Illinois will come alive with 200+ of the most bad ass trucks in the Midwest lining it’s streets. A live DJ will provide music and entertainment during the day and will be followed up by a concert open to all featuring one of the hottest new national touring bands from Nashville. This band puts on high energy performances with hard hitting country/rock. Due to contracts we are not able to officially announce the main act quite yet, but rest assured you won’t want to miss this one!

With several classes, there will be major awards and unique trophies to compete for!
